Actress talks of her life in ‘Gathering’

ifilm series actress unveils her past in national talk show.

Here’s the 4th report in a series by ifilm, on the popular talk show ‘The Gathering’, aired by the channel; this time the program hosts Niyousha Zeyghami, whom you might recall from ‘In the Eye of the Storm’, a popular series aired on ifilm.

Asked about having a bodyguard, Zeyghami noted that there is a photo in which a lady resembles a bodyguard on the actress’s side; she smiled and said there’s also more to the rumor, in which some people said that woman had married Mehran Modiri’s bodyguard; though both are not true. She said she’d gone to a cineplex for a film screening, when a female security officer from the complex had accompanied her, and that had caused all the rumor.

Here’s excerpts from the talk.

I’ve always tried to avoid tabloid issues, but that’s part of the business of being a celebrity. For example, recently there was talk of me and my husband getting divorced, which was another piece of rumor.

I first met my husband 8 years ago, in a cinematic project, and nine months later, we got married.

About my husband being a wealthy person, I can say our lifestyle isn’t a different one, but we’re enjoying comfort. I hear a lot of what tabloids say about my husband, but like anybody else, I’ve got my own standards based on which I came to choose him, and I also always believe money doesn’t bring about happiness.

Born in 1980, Zeyghami has appeared in several movies, including ‘The Juggler’ (2004), ‘The Confrontation’ (2004), ‘My Sin’ (2006), ‘Hidden Feeling’ (2006), ‘Parkway’ (2006), ‘The Outcasts’ (2006), ‘Forced Blessing’ (2007), ‘The Outcasts 2’ (2008), ‘Extreme Cold’ (2009), ‘Mirror and Candlestick’ (2012) and ‘Iran Burger’ (2014).

Stay with our next installment of this interview, in which you’ll read more on this popular actress.

In near future, there will be more on the popular, star-driven show, ‘Gathering’, and what the guests, including celebrities, artists, actors, and cineastes and athletes have told the nation, about the backstage and their private lives.
